108 Sun Salutations in Observance of The Summer Solstice
Tuesday, June 21st
6.30 – 7p Meditation
7 – 9.30p Sun Salutations
Donations Accepted to benefit The Fistula Foundation
Do one or do them all. More relay than marathon, beginners are encouraged to participate.
Our most recent goodmala on the Vernal Equinox raised over $1,000 for The Fistula Foundation thanks to goodyogi Joanna Grant. 103 Sun Salutations raised more than enough for the treatment and recovery of two Fistula patients.
To participate, simply send your friends, family and colleagues a link to this page and they can pledge any amount per Sun Salutation completed by clicking on the sponsor a yogi link.
After that, all you have to do is show up, do as many Sun Salutations as you can, up to 108, and we’ll deliver your sponsored donations to The Fistula Foundation in your honor.
If you’d like to help, but are unable to attend and don’t know any participating yogis, why not sponsor the Yogi who completes the MOST Sun Salutations…or the LEAST! Or how about Joanna Grant? She exhausted her supply of friends three months ago. Time to let the field lie fallow.
We’ll update this list with names of participating yogis so you can choose at random, too!

In the interest of aesthetics, health and hygiene we are retiring our 2 year old Pthlalate laden mats. 1/2 of them are donated to an inpatient rehab center where fellow goodyogis have organized free classes. The rest may be purchased for $5 each while supplies last. All proceeds will be donated to the Fistula Foundation. Our new natural rubber rental mats will be thoroughly cleaned by our staff between uses. The $2 rental fee will cover both the cost of the mats and the labor involved in their upkeep. You may purchase your own for $30 – $60, depending on which style you choose. Members may store their rolled and labelled mats here.
